There was a time when I had a wide variety of patterns I particularly liked printed onto linen, intending to embroider them later. Now I realize that I will never be able to use up this huge stash. So, I have decided to gradually part with some of the pieces.
The piece shown here measures approximately 140 cm by 215 cm, making it suitable for use as a dining table cloth.
This is Weddigen linen #160 in the color “Falb” (fawn). The 13.5-thread linen is of very high quality, as can be seen from the enlarged image.
The linen is printed with two pattern strips, each approximately 13 cm wide and 190 cm long, featuring a continuous pattern repeat (see photo below).
The patterns are spaced approximately 12.5 cm from the short edges, allowing for a wide hem to be worked.
Measured from the long sides, the distance is approximately 37.5 cm, leaving a clear strip of approximately 39 cm in the middle between the bands of the pattern.
I am selling this large, printed piece of linen at the attractive special price of €79.00—especially considering how hard it is to find such high-quality linen in this color these days.
