Linen: old handwoven with a 18/cm thread count, cut to 20 cm X 20 cm
Threads: coton à broder No. 16 for the Lazy Daisy stitches of the filling pattern, No. 20 for the Chain stitches outlining the star, No. 30 for the Chain stitches outlining the hearts and for the Rose stitches of the filling pattern, 2 strands of 6-ply stranded cotton for the Satin stitches in the hearts.

Filling pattern: Combination of four Lazy Daisy stitches establishing a cross and Rose stitches
